Saalbach Hinterglemm
Saalbach-Hinterglemm
lies 1,003 m above sea level and is almost completely orientated
towards tourism. 16,500 beds make it the biggest tourist destination
in Austria.
The ski area extends to an altitude of 2,100
metres and the circuit,
including Leogang, comprises 60
ski lifts and 200 km of prepared runs.
There is plenty of scope for fashionable sports such as snowboarding
and carving. Many visitors are particularly attracted to the night ski
slopes, which ensure a unique on-piste experience in winter.
